1. You must have successfully completed vocational or academic training for at least two years. It is very important that such qualification or qualifications are recognised from your country. You can also apply online to recognise your qualifications in Germany through “Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB).

2. Secondly, you need to have Proof of Language Proficiency like level A1 of German or level B2 of English language.

3. You should have the ability to cover your living costs during this one year visa of looking for Job. This can be done by opening and funding a blocked account in which you can withdraw minimum of 1,027 euro per month.

4. Having an Employment contract from a job in Germany will expedite the process.

5. Another possibility is through declaration of commitment where someone in Germany can stand in for you and cover your expenses for that one year period. This declaration of commitment is also known as “Verpflichtungserklärung” in German language.
