Our ministries

Men

Our Men’s Ministry is vibrant and growing! The goal of the ministry is to equip men to know God greater than they ever have before. This will help them to grow in maturity, allow them to increase their love and understanding of God, encourage them as
they lead their families, and cultivate a brotherhood within the ministry and support initiatives that are designed to help men
become “Christ-like” leaders in their homes, churches, and communities (Mark 12:31).
Men can accomplish anything and overcome any obstacle with the power of the Holy Spirit. Coming to this understanding in a
group of fellow Christians can be a powerful and life-affirming realization, encouraging men to be rightly motivated and to take
up the mantle in service of family and community.

Women

The women’s ministry at DOMINION PARISH seeks to challenge and equip women to reach their full potential in Christ. We provide a variety of opportunities to grow in relationship with God through His word, and fellowship with other women while creating a supportive and nurturing environment where women can grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and address various challenges they may face in their personal lives.

Youth and young adult

We seek to train the youth of our generation to stand out for Jesus without being ashamed or compromising with the world. Our vision is to train, motivate, and teach the youth to grow in the fear of God. We also help the youth to understand their purpose in life and to reach their God-given destiny.
The Young Adults Ministry focuses on developing authentic communities and connections for college-aged and young adults. Young adults will experience community and connection through monthly gatherings, weekly group meetups, and serving opportunities. The Youth Young Adults Ministry is a place you can call home.

Children and teens

The Children & Teens Ministry is a very important organ of the RCCG Dominion Parish. Its main aim is to bring up a “Joshua GENERATION” in the fear of the lord according to Proverbs 22:6

Our mission is to work with you to help lead your children into a relationship with Jesus and to grow in their faith. We believe that the primary responsibility for this is yours and we are offering you support through our programs.

Proverbs 22:6: “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it”

Ephesians 6:4: “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord”

If you have a teachable spirit and love for children then take the next step in desiring to become a member of this team and work in an en enabling environment with children at our centre. You will be richly blessed.

Administration

The Church administration is a spiritual service to the Body of Christ that involves the wise stewardship of God’s resources for the accomplishment of the work of the ministry. T Administration is not an end in itself, but rather it is a means for serving people effectively while making efficient use of resources in a manner that glorifies God.
Concerning operations, we believe that the management of church affairs should ultimately benefit people and glorify God.
Moreover, we believe these management goals are served by having biblical consistent policies and procedures in writing and available for reference. Policies and procedures that give direction and definition to the ‘how’ of ministry are desirable for the following reasons:
they help ensure that matters are handled effectively; that is, with the goals of biblical ministry clearly in view; they reduce the possibility of mismanagement and unethical behavior, particularly in matters of finances; they save time in the decision-making process, thus enabling the ministry to function more efficiently; they help to clarify expectations and enable people to work together in ministry with greater understanding.

Music

“Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” -Ephesians 5:18-20 (NIV)
Our Praise and Worship team does more than just lead us in our favorite songs, they create an intimate atmosphere of praise and worship where we can surrender to God and prepare our hearts and minds for God’s word

Ushering

“I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness” (Psalm 84:10). This is the scripture that often comes to mind when thinking of the Ushers Ministry, but God has made ushers much more than that.
God uses them to minister to the hurting through prayer, a kind word, or simply a warm smile. Our ushers serve as doorkeepers, assist with seating, maintain order during the service, and have the awesome privilege of meeting and greeting the body of Christ as they enter into worship. They see the power of God bring the backsliders home, the addicts set free, and the sick healed! It is only with a surrendered heart and God’s grace that we can serve and see the power of God change lives.

Media

Dominion Media Ministry takes care of streaming every service on our socials. The Media advertises and produces leaflets whenever there is a major program coming up.
The Media has also designed the layout and done the programming of our website, based entirely on pictures, text, and talents from the house. In every way, it is the Media’s responsibility to tell the outside, what’s going on, on the inside, and further-more to produce quality products and resources that will help to equip people to do what God has called them to do.

Technical

The Technical Department exists for this purpose: to invest ourselves in a ministry that will directly support and reinforce the presentation of Biblical truths that requires the support of lighting, audio, video, sound, or any other form of technical support during church services, events as well as stage support. We will strive to do this in a manner that honors our God.
The Technical Department will strive for technical excellence within RCCG DOMINION PARISH. We will endeavor to understand not only the technical aspects of the equipment but also the environment in which it is used. We will do so in a Christ-like manner.
The Technical Team members come from all walks of life and have a very diverse skill set. Our common bond is the desire to create an atmosphere where the DOMINION family can worship the one true God.

Sunday school

The ministry of Sunday School is to teach the Word of God to all ages. As members participate in Sunday school they are encouraged to study daily God’s Word, establish a personal relationship with God. Attending Sunday School gives members a venue for fellowship while studying the Word of God.
Participating in this purpose trains members for various leadership roles.

Intercessory

The intercessory ministry is the powerhouse of DOMINION PARISH. Its committed prayer warriors take a queue from Ezekiel 22:30-31 “Because the Lord God did not find anyone to ”stand in the gap,” to intercede for the land, He was required to pour out the judgment due to its disobedience.
Following biblical principles, a lot of spiritual warfare, intercessions, and stand-in-the-gap supplications go on against the devourer for the church, members, and the land. If you are a man or a woman of prayer with difficulties you will find solace here. Your prayer life will be rekindled to carry on God’s agenda.

Outreach

The Evangelism Ministry believes and adheres to our Lord’s instructions in the “GREAT COMMISSION” (Matthew 28:18-20) to go (as you live); teach (make disciples), and observe (obey) all that He has commanded.

It is, therefore our mission to reach lost souls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ by enhancing the Faith of all Believers so that they can pay it forward. It is by grace that we are saved through faith so, Evangelism is simply “Sharing our Faith and God’s Grace with Others.”

Sanctuary keepers

The Sanctuary Keepers, with their quiet commitment, ensure that every corner of God’s house radiates purity and peace. Their scope of responsibilities stretches beyond mere cleaning. They work hand-in-hand with various departments, setting schedules and identifying areas that require attention. In doing so, they play a pivotal role in ensuring that every congregant can immerse fully into their spiritual journey without any distractions.
Embracing the scripture, “For God is not a God of disorder but of peace,” our Sanctuary Keepers uphold an atmosphere that is both orderly and spiritually inviting. They are the silent pillars whose efforts create a harmonious and uplifting environment for all.
If the idea of serving God by maintaining His house appeals to you, the Sanctuary Keepers welcome you with open arms. Be a part of this dedicated team, ensuring that our sanctuary stands as a beacon of God’s unwavering love and presence.
Whether you’ve been involved in similar service or are looking to start a fresh chapter, the Sanctuary Keeper’s role is a fulfilling journey, where every act of service resonates deeply with the divine purpose.

Welfare

The welfare ministry allows us to look into the life of our Lord Jesus Christ and also to experience the type of life he lived while on earth. The Bible makes it clear to us in Matthew 25 vs 40: “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, in as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” The ministry of our Lord Jesus was focused on giving to and helping the needy.
Welfare is both temporal and spiritual well-being, our major goal is to see to the welfare of the church, reach out to the poor and needy, and spread the word of God through acts of kindness and generosity showing Love when it’s most needed.

Facility management

Church facility management is the proper governance and maintenance of the property and infrastructures that belong to a
church. Facilities management involves multiple duties and obligations focused on preserving the cleanliness, safety, efficiency, and appearance of church premises, equipment, and surrounding areas. It is done to facilitate the congregation‘s activities and accomplish its goals. Church maintenance is an important part of facility management, encompassing regular inspections, repairs, cleaning, and maintenance to guarantee that the facilities are in excellent condition for worship services, events, and community gatherings.
Implementing efficient facility management procedures improves the physical appearance and operational aspects of church properties and enhances the overall satisfaction and security of worshipers and visitors. Churches exhibit responsible resource management and promote spiritual growth, fellowship, and community engagement by prioritizing the maintenance and management of their facilities.

Decoration

Decorating Ministry helps to create a warm and inviting church atmosphere by offering their time, talent, and treasure to beautify the House of the Lord. We strive to make the liturgical seasons and feast days come alive through the visual aids of color and design. This ministry beautifies the grounds and the interior of the church.

Editorial/Library

For the Word of God is living and active.
– Hebrews 4:12
To fulfill its mission of “providing a living and active ministry that spreads the Word of God to all of God’s children,” This team
works cooperatively with ministries of all ages. It strives to provide materials and programs that encourage the study of God’s Word and the growth of each person’s relationship with God.
Because God is at its focal point, the EDITORIAL/LIBRARY ministry is a special place. It is a place to grow as a Christian, a place to find peace and compassion, and a place to be in God’s presence.
Our purpose is to humble the pride of man, exalt the grace of God in salvation, and promote real holiness in heart and life. The variety of materials promotes an eclectic view of ministry that invites every member to participate in church life in some way.
The books, videos, periodicals, and other resources offer material for education, personal growth, and sharing.
